Kujenga
means “to build”
In the early 1970s, British game designer Leslie Scott and her family created a Stacking game using wooden blocks sourced from a local sawmill while living in Takoradi, Ghana.
That family pastime was perfected and launched in 1983 as Jenga, named from the Swahili word kujenga, meaning “to build.” Today, Jenga Jar carries that same spirit helping you build your financial tower, block by block.
